Where the heck is Arcata?

Arcata is located on California's redwood coast, about 275 miles north of San Francisco, in the heart of the Humboldt nation. Arcata is a unique town of about 16,500 people and home to Humboldt State University. Arcata's 622 acre Community Forest and Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary are home to over 200 species of birds. Humboldt County is filled with innovative people and known for it's alternative artsy DIY crowd. We hope to make this event as eclectic Humboldt County.
